This was an example of a low performing assessment. The student had difficulty grasping the point of the exercise as well as what the greenhouse effect was. Even with some guided instruction, the student put forth little effort on the assignment. She did however, grasp how to make a model of it with her group and some guidance. This student wasn't the only one who had difficulty grasping the concept, which allowed me to address their misunderstanding of experimental design and the greenhouse effect in our next class.
